Surfrider

For the second year in a row, the Surfrider Foundation chapters here in western Washington have provided support for the Ikkatsu Project. We would like to publicly thank the South Sound and the Seattle Chapters specifically and we urge you to take a look at some of the programs that these groups are getting involved in and consider being a part yourself. Beach clean-ups and water monitoring are big, as well as coordinated efforts to stop the coal trains from rumbling through our area and to get rid of single-use plastic bags in our communities. Surfrider is about more than just surfing (although there is a healthy dose of that too); being a part of this organization is a way to give back to the ocean and to make a difference on a local level.

Thanks for everything, Surfrider!
