Some of the most exciting partnership events that are featured on the Ikkatsu calendar are the Grit City Cleanups that will be happening in different locations at various points during the year. This Tacoma Metro Parks program helps to make different natural areas in the community more accessible and involve residents in cleaning up litter and debris as well as a variety of restoration programs. The Ikkatsu Project is involved as a partner this year, putting out information about plastic in the environment and conducting microplastic studies at each of these opportunities.
