Saving the date is something we get asked to do quite a bit, but I wanted to make sure that the Tacoma Shoreline Survey is on your calendar for this coming April. April 14th, from 10:30-1:30. The Ikkatsu Project and Tacoma Metro Parks staff will be at Jack Hyde Park with registration and supplies, and opportunities for cleanup are all over the Tacoma waterfront, from Point Defiance to Thea’s Park and over at Yowkwala Beach, on the north side of Commencement Bay.
This is the 6th Annual TSS and it’s always a good time. More info to follow, as always.
