You made it through Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Cyber Monday is in the rear-view mirror and we are almost halfway through Giving Tuesday. (If you haven’t had the chance to donate to the Ikkatsu Project, it takes but a minute. Literally. Just click here.)

All of this is prelude, of course, and brings us to party time. If you can possibly make it, I hope you do. These events – and it’s been two years since the last one, because Covid – are always an amazing mix of cool people, good music and what kayaker and author Susan Conrad refers to as, “serendipity.” Come out and see Susan tonight, ask her to tell you her story, catch some great music from six-string virtuoso Steve Stefanowicz and maybe find some serendipity of your own.

WHY IS IT HAPPENING?
Giving Tuesday is for raising money for next year’s programs, so there is a fundraising aspect to the evening that is certainly a priority. But more than that, this is a rare opportunity to meet some amazing people, win a raffle prize or two and catch up on what the Ikkatsu Project has been doing and what is coming up in 2022.
WHO CAN GO?
Anybody. Well, anybody 21 and older, anyway. There’s no charge, although any donations will be cheerfully accepted.
