T Minus 60

This year, Giving Tuesday falls on November 30th. It’s the one organized fundraising effort of the year for the Ikkatsu Project (I use the word organized here with a bit of salt), and I see by the calendar that it’s a mere 60 days before it’s upon us. There will be a party – it’s also the 10th anniversary of the Ikkatsu Project – and I sincerely hope that everyone who can make it is able to be there. It has been a long time since the last one.

Your contribution helps to maintain programs like the South Kuiu Cleanup and water monitoring studies in the Puyallup Watershed. The money you give goes to putting together the Tacoma Shoreline Survey every spring and classroom microplastic programs in area Middle Schools. This year, we’re asking you to consider making a recurring contribution, something that will help to even out finances throughout the year and assist in planning future programs. If you have already donated toward this Giving Tuesday’s drive, thank you for your support. If you haven’t, you don’t need to wait until the day is here (although that is absolutely fine), you can simply click on the link to the donation site and make your contribution online. It’s fast, safe and simple and you will feel the gratitude.

See you on November 30th!
