This year’s International Coastal Cleanup is scheduled for September 11. It’s one of the two big beach cleanups that we have here in the Northwest, the other one happening in April, along with Earth Day. Local organizing is being done by Washington CoastSavers and although there are still some areas closed because of Covid considerations (check the map for precise information), there are miles of shoreline that could definitely use a cleaning.
