The 3rd Annual Tacoma Shoreline Survey is coming up in about a month. Registration will open this week and even though it’s going to be different this year (what isn’t), it is still going to be an opportunity to have fun doing good, and every hour spent outdoors is time well spent. Last year’s total came in at over 1000 pounds of debris and almost 150 volunteers.

This year, we’re coordinating with other organizations and with Oceanfest, a celebration of Puget Sound that is also happening virtually on Sunday, September 13th. Getting out along the water’s edge is one of the unique joys of living here and Oceanfest encourages all kinds of interactions… check it out.
