Looking Forward To It

A few years ago, I decided it might be a good idea to take an opportunity every now and then for an informal reception, where I could present the story of what the Ikkatsu Project is doing on an ongoing basis. A party, if you will, that could also serve to catch folks up on current activities, to give a report on the year that just passed and to take a quick look at what might be coming up. It’s time to do that again.

On December 4th, the Ikkatsu Project will be hosting an evening at the Camp Bar, in Tacoma, and I hope you can all make it. (And bring a friend!) It’s a laid back environment rather than a gala, and there is no charge to attend. The hope is that you’ll be able to see photos and video of what the Ikkatsu Project is up to these days, throw down for a few raffle tickets, catch up with folks from all over that connect over issues relating to the ocean and Puget Sound, and enjoy a brew or two while you’re at it. Look for for more specifics in the weeks ahead.

Also, and this is pretty important too, December 3rd, the day before the bash, is Giving Tuesday. This is the one event a year that the Ikkatsu Project actively promotes as a way to raise money for upcoming programs and we are excited to be a part of it once again. Please consider a donation this season that will enable the Ikkatsu Project to continue beach surveys and cleanups, school programs and advocacy events throughout the coming year. It’s as easy as a click of the mouse… if you have any questions, please get in touch.
