Such a Deal

Message in a Plastic Bottle will be released next week as a book and a film. A limited run of 250 will be available as a set (book and film), for a $30 donation, but preorders are being accepted until April 17th for the earlybird mark of $25.

The Ikkatsu Project doesn’t do a lot of fundraisers. We don’t have membership drives or send out direct mail fundraising letters. The last fundraiser that we did was over a year ago (and it didn’t really generate any actual dollars – although it was a lot of fun). This is a chance to get a numbered and signed copy of the book, along with the DVD that features an awesome soundtrack from Eugene-area band, Satori Bob, and is an excellent partner to the printed account of the 150-mile plastic bottle boat journey through Puget Sound.

If you live in the Tacoma area, the purchase price includes delivery. For delivery by mail, please add $3.50 (International rates may be slightly higher.) You can mail payment to:
The Ikkatsu Project
2522 N. Proctor St. #360
Tacoma, WA 98406

… or call/email for more information.

There will only be 250 of these sets that will be produced. They will be available at the premiere in Port Angeles on the 18th and at other screenings at the $30 level until they are gone but they will not be available for $25 after this week. Please consider purchasing a copy (or several!), and help support the ongoing work of the Ikkatsu Project.

Thanks!
