This Thursday, October 9th, students from Jason Lee Middle School will be hosting an environmental film fundraising event. It kicks off at 5:45 featuring displays from organizations – like the south Sound chapter of Surfrider – followed by the films Bag-It and Tapped, each of which discuss the complex issues surrounding single-use plastics. For more information and directions, follow this link to the event website and flier. Support your local students and come stop by for a film, a review of displays, or for the full event. It gets done pretty early for a school night… it’s free and it’s a good way to get a look at these important issues. See you there!
