The hull of the Hyas yiem is complete. The main section of the hull, anyway. There are seven 13-foot tubes solidly mounted in placed and as sealed as I can get them. I have six more long tubes of 2-liter bottles to add. three to each side, and then the bow and stern to shape after that. We’re a long way from done, but this past week has brought with it some genuine progress. We’re hoping for the first test paddle in the first week or so of February.
