Leaving tomorrow for the coast. I am doing a beach cleanup/debris collection on Thursday… not sure exactly where yet, but I have my eye on one of those remote pocket beaches between Second Beach and Third Beach, just south of La Push. There are so many of those little coves scattered along the Olympic shoreline, hidden and isolated, out of sight of all but the mermaids and the rare coastal paddler.

From there I’m heading south to Westport for the Surfrider Northwest summit this weekend. Really looking forward to that… 50+ Surfrider chapter members from Oregon, Washington and BC and a great chance to touch base with others who are focused on improving the health of the ocean. I expect to come back smarter.
