"Plastic Beach," as it is more commonly known, Kamilo Beach sits on the southern tip of the big island of Hawaii, where strong currents wash large quantities of marine debris ashore regularly.

The Ikkatsu Project is proud of the company it keeps; the dedicated support of these companies and organizations help make our continuing expeditions and field work possible.

It isn't often that we get treated to Pacific white-sided dolphins here in the southern Salish Sea, but when we do, we give them names and our children go paddling with them.
