Contemplating a voyage

PWS3

“To young men contemplating a voyage I would say go.”
Joshua Slocum

There’s less than 24 hours to go before we leave. Last night at the Parkway was a great time for all involved – we certainly enjoyed being able to see everyone who made it out. (To those who couldn’t be there, you were missed.)

Today is a packing day, a chance to start again from zero and put it all where it goes, for one last time in the comfort and convenience of our home port. There will be more juggling of gear and repositioning as the days come and go, but this will be the last chance to augment the supplies from the home chandlery. It seems like there is still so much to be done and so little time remains in which to do it. I know it will all come together, and that real soon.

If you wait until the last minute, it only takes a minute.
