Save the date!

It’s coming up fast! On June 22nd, we’ll be heading to Alaska for this year’s expedition to Augustine Island and a section of the Alaska Peninsula. We’ll be doing more debris surveys on seldom-visited beaches as well as studies on plastic ingestion in sea bird populations in several of the locations we travel through. We’ll be filming this adventure too, with the intention of producing the follow-on chapter to the Ikkatsu story we began telling in last year’s award-winning film about our trip down Washington’s roadless coast.

Before we go, we’d love to see you. We hope you’ll be able to come out to say goodbye on June 20th at the Parkway Tavern in Tacoma. (There’s an Event link on our Facebook Page if you’d like to RSVP.) We can tip back a beer together, tell stories and look through photos and charts of where we’ll be going. Please save the date and come out to send us on our way!

We look forward to seeing you there.
