Incentive

Pacific Coast Lights (1 of 1)(1)

We’re down to the last 2 days of the funding campaign. That’s it… two more days. We’re a long way from our stated goal, but it’s not getting us down. How could it? We’ve had a great run these past couple of months, showing “The Roadless Coast” to thousands of people, from Forks to San Francisco. We got to tell our story and to listen to the stories of others as we did it, and the whole process was downright inspirational. The fact that we haven’t made it to our funding goal isn’t getting us down, mostly because…

We’re still going. This year’s expedition to Augustine is on schedule and the planning continues. We’ve been able to raise some money and we have kicked in a fair bit of our own, but in the long run, it doesn’t matter how it’s going to happen, just that it’s going to happen. This is an important story, this tale of marine plastic and the environment that we all depend upon, and we will be putting another chapter together with this year’s effort. (We had a production meeting yesterday and by the time it was over, I was ready to get up and go right then.)

So, with two days left in the funding drive, what we are hoping is that you’ll take another look at the project and consider being a part of making it happen with an on-line tax-deductible contribution. By way of a little incentive, we’re offering a signed, limited edition print of “Pacific Coast Lights,” the Todd Fischer painting that was done for the Roadless Coast expedition and film. Every contribution of $150 or more will receive one of these amazingly beautiful prints, mailed to your door. Do something beautiful, get something beautiful. Please give it some thought and click over to the site today… time is running out.

And, thank you.
