The sun is about to rise on day 2 of the Golden Gate Sea Kayak Symposium. (“Day 2” for us… some folks have been at it all week.)

It’s a great opportunity to reconnect with old friends as well as meet some new ones. It is good to see Leon Somme and Shawna Franklin again, and Steve Scherrer… it’s been too long. Justine Curgenven gave a presentation last night – slides and snippets from her upcoming film This is the Sea 5, and the room was filled with an appreciative audience. Tonight it will be our turn.
