The new issue of Sea Kayaker magazine has hit the stands, and there’s a decent story about the 2012 Ikkatsu Expedition beginning on page 18. (Yes, I wrote it… but it’s decent anyway.) The focus here is on the science involved in what we did… the overall problem of marine debris and how the Japanese tsunami played into that, the surveys and how they were accomplished, the way that the gyres function. It was fun to write and I hope that it’s fun to read as well.
