After the beach cleanup on Saturday (I am still sore from hauling heavy garbage sacks of debris up the cliffs north of Shi Shi), I went down to Forks for the 4th Annual River and Ocean Film Festival, where Message in a Plastic Bottle won the Best in Show Runnerup. The audience voted on the film they liked the best and I am hugely grateful for their response. It was a fun night with some excellent films on a wide variety of topics. The festival organizer, Washington SeaGrant, did an outstanding job in putting on a quality event… I’m already looking forward to next year!
